FAVORITE BASEBALL PLAYER GROWING UP: David Ortiz

Coach Nate Medina brings a deep passion for the game and a wealth of playing experience to the Wildcatters organization. A Corpus Christi native, he developed his skills playing for the powerhouse Moody Trojans from 2013-2017, competing at the Texas State Tournament and laying the foundation for his collegiate career.

Medina continued his baseball journey at Laredo Community College and Coastal Bend College from 2017-2020 before earning the opportunity to compete on the national stage in the 2020-2021 Division III JUCO World Series.

Now leading the 9U STX Wildcatters Medina team, Coach Medina takes pride in developing young athletes with the grit and competitive mindset that defines South Texas baseball. His focus is on building strong fundamentals, fostering a love for the game, and preparing his players to succeed at the next level.
