wildcatters BASEBALL

donate

At Wildcatters Baseball, we’re committed to giving every player the chance to develop and compete at the highest level. On this page, you can make a Direct Donation, which goes toward player or team dues.

We also offer team fundraising, which supports additional expenses such as travel, equipment, and development. Your support—whether through donations or fundraising—helps ensure our athletes have the resources they need each season.

Donations FAQ

GENERAL GIVING

Q: HOW CAN I SUPPORT WILDCATTERS BASEBALL?
A: You have two main ways to support:

1. Direct Donations – These go through our website (via GiveButter)

or by mailing a check to:
Wildcatters Baseball
1400 Post Oak Blvd, STE 450
Houston, TX 77056

Note: These contributions can only be applied toward player or team dues.

2. Team Fundraising - If you give directly to a team’s fundraising effort, those dollars go toward team expenses not associated with dues such as travel, equipment, etc.

DIRECT DONATIONS

Q: CAN I DONATE DIRECTLY TO A SPECIFIC PLAYER OR TEAM’S DUES?
A: Yes! When making a Direct Donation on our website, you can note in the comments whether you’d like your gift applied to one player, multiple players, or spread evenly across a team.

Q: WHAT CAN DIRECT DONATIONS BE USED FOR?
A: Direct Donations are only used to reduce player or team dues which include tournaments, coach fees, facilities, uniforms. They cannot be used for travel, helmets, bags, uniforms, or other equipment.

Q: WHAT IF I DON’T SPECIFY WHERE I WANT MY DIRECT DONATION TO GO?
A: If no instructions are included, the donation will be applied evenly to the selected team’s dues.

Q: WILL I RECEIVE A RECEIPT FOR MY DIRECT DONATION?
A: Yes, you’ll automatically receive a receipt for tax purposes through the donate tab on our website. Direct Donations to Wildcatters Baseball are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

TEAM FUNDRAISING

Q: CAN TEAMS FUNDRAISE FOR THEIR EXPENSES?
A: Absolutely! Teams are encouraged to fundraise. You may use this Donation + Fundraising Flyer to help spread the word.

Q: WHAT CAN FUNDRAISING DOLLARS BE USED FOR?
A: Fundraising dollars cover team expenses not associated with dues such as travel, equipment, and shared resources. If you would like for the proceeds to go towards dues then it will be a tax deductible donation.

Q: ARE FUNDRAISING CONTRIBUTIONS TAX-DEDUCTIBLE?
A: Since fundraising money goes directly to team expenses (not through the organization), tax deductibility will be the responsibility of the giver.

OTHER WAYS TO SUPPORT

Q: BESIDES DONATING, HOW ELSE CAN I HELP WILDCATTERS BASEBALL?
A: You can volunteer your time as a mentor, event organizer, or helper in other areas. Contact Brooke Price at brooke@wildcattersbaseball.org to get involved

Q: HOW DO I BECOME A WILDCATTERS BASEBALL PARTNER (SPONSOR)?
A: If you’d like to become an organization sponsor, contact Executive Director Stefen Breeding at stefen@wildcattersbaseball.org.

EMPLOYER & DONATION ITEMS

Q: I’M PARTICIPATING IN A COMPANY MATCH PROGRAM THROUGH MY HR DEPARTMENT. HOW DOES THAT WORK?
A: Please contact Operations Director Brooke Price at brooke@wildcattersbaseball.org so we can track the gift. Your HR department will issue your receipt, and we’ll make sure it’s credited properly.

Remember: Matching gifts still count as Direct Donations, which means they go toward player or team dues only.

Q: CAN I DONATE ITEMS INSTEAD OF MONEY?
A: Yes, we’re happy to accept donated items and can provide a receipt for the Fair Market Value (FMV).

Please note: item donations are considered in-kind support and are not applied toward dues or team fundraising needs.
