A standout power hitter, he made his mark early while playing at LSU, where he led the NCAA in home runs in 2008 with an impressive 28. That same year, he helped lead his team to the College World Series, cementing his place as one of the premier collegiate hitters in the country.

Clark was drafted twice—first by the Pittsburgh Pirates and later by the San Diego Padres—before going on to represent Team USA, earning a Silver Medal in international competition. He also proudly played for Mexico in the Olympics, showcasing his versatility and commitment on the world stage.

His Major League career included time with the Milwaukee Brewers, and also took his talents overseas, playing two seasons in Japan with the Chunichi Dragons and Orix Buffaloes. Over the course of his career, Coach Clark hit nearly 300 professional home runs, a testament to his power, consistency, and deep understanding of the game.
