FAVORITE BASEBALL PLAYER GROWING UP: Alex Rodriguez

Coach Lozano, a Corpus Christi native, began playing baseball at the age of four and developed under some of the area’s top coaches. His dedication and skill earned him a four-year varsity letterman status in high school, where he received multiple accolades, including 2nd Team All-District designated hitter as a freshman and 4A All-District Honorable Mention.

He continued his baseball career at Coastal Bend College but made the difficult decision to step away from the game to support his son. Shortly after, he traded his cleats for combat boots, serving six years in the United States Army. During his service, he honed his leadership and training skills, learning the value of discipline, perseverance, and mentorship.

Now, Coach Lozano combines his baseball expertise with his military experience to develop young athletes, instilling in them the values of hard work, respect, and dedication—both on and off the field.
