FAVORITE BASEBALL PLAYER GROWING UP: Ken Griffey Jr

Coach Stone has been around baseball his entire life. A graduate of Liberty High School in Brentwood, CA, he played varsity baseball during his time there and developed a deep connection to the game. After a brief break from playing, he realized just how much baseball had shaped him, both on and off the field. 

That realization led him to Los Medanos Junior College, where he played for two years before earning a scholarship to continue his collegiate career at a small NAIA school. His experience as a college athlete fueled his passion for the game and naturally led him into coaching. 

Coach Stone began his coaching career at his alma mater, Liberty High School, where he continues to coach today. More recently, he has expanded into youth baseball, bringing his knowledge, energy, and love for the game to the next generation of players. He’s committed to helping young athletes grow not just as players, but as confident, hardworking individuals.
