With a storied career as both a player and coach, Guadalupe Salinas brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the 10U Central Texas Wildcatters. A former standout pitcher at Pan American University (1970-1973), he made history by pitching the first game for Pan American in the 1971 College World Series, defeating Texas 1-0 to advance. His dominance on the mound earned him All-American honors in 1972.

Following his collegiate success, Coach Salinas went on to play 13 years in Mexican AAA baseball and 10 years in the Winter League, solidifying his reputation as a high-level competitor. Transitioning into coaching, he spent five years coaching high school baseball in the Rio Grande Valley, leading his teams to deep playoff runs each season.

Currently, Coach Salinas works at DBat, providing elite-level pitching and hitting instruction, where he continues to mentor young athletes. Now leading the 10U Central Texas Wildcatters, he is dedicated to developing players through strong fundamentals, mental toughness, and a deep love for the game. His extensive experience makes him a vital part of the Wildcatters organization.
