Bio coming soChris Becker brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to the CTX Wildcatters organization. A former collegiate athlete, Becker played at Coastal Bend College, where his team advanced to the JUCO World Series and finished as national runner-up to Tyler Junior College. He later continued his playing career at Huston-Tillotson University.

Becker was deeply influenced by his mentor and favorite player growing up, Micah Bowie—a former Major League pitcher known for his time with the Oakland Athletics during their historic “Moneyball” 20-game win streak. Bowie played over eight seasons in the big leagues and was instrumental in shaping Becker’s understanding of the game.

In addition to his playing career, Becker began coaching at a young age and has worked with several respected programs, including the Bowie Bulls, Southwest Canes, Marucci Elite, Dragons Select, and currently the CTX Wildcatters. His passion for player development is matched by his commitment to helping athletes reach the next level.

Becker also serves as a volunteer scout for Texas College and collaborates with current MLB scouts to evaluate talent across the region. Known for his strong connections and coaching pedigree in Central Texas, he is dedicated to passing on his knowledge, guiding young players, and helping them earn opportunities to play collegiate baseball.
