FAVORITE BASEBALL PLAYER GROWING UP: Cal Ripken
Brandon Place brings over two decades of coaching experience to the North Texas Wildcatters, having coached high-level select and high school baseball for the past 21 years. His passion for player development spans all aspects of the game—offense, defense, and pitching—as he has provided private instruction in hitting, fielding, and pitching to athletes ranging from youth to collegiate levels.
Coach Place has led teams in some of the most competitive tournaments across the country, including premier national showcases in Atlanta and Jupiter with top-tier high school players. In addition to his on-field expertise, he has also developed and implemented strength and conditioning programs tailored for both youth and high school athletes, emphasizing athletic performance and injury prevention.
He holds certification through USA Baseball, further reflecting his commitment to teaching the game the right way. As the current head coach of the Wildcatters 13U Majors team, Brandon Place continues to mentor and mold young athletes with a focus on fundamentals, discipline, and preparing them for the next level of competition.
